Aiphone NEM Loud Speaking Intercom
The Aiphone NEM Loud Speaking intercom is designed for commercial applications where a audio type master station is required to communicate with loud speaking style sub stations. The NEM system will allow up to two master stations and up to forty sub stations to be installed on a system.
The Aiphone NEM system is ideally suited to installations like parking stations and for access control. The Aiphone NEM system also has an All Call feature enabling a master station to call all sub stations in the system at once.
There are eight types of master stations available;
- Aiphone NEM10C Ten call master station loud speaking
- Aiphone NEM20C Twenty call master station loud speaking
- Aiphone NEM30C Thirty call master station loud speaking
- Aiphone NEM40C Forty call master station loud speaking
- Aiphone NEM10AC Ten call master station loud speaking with handset
- Aiphone NEM20AC Twenty call master station loud speaking with handset
- Aiphone NEM30AC Thirty call master station loud speaking with handset
- Aiphone NEM40AC Forty call master station loud speaking with handset
There are five types of audio sub stations available;
- Aiphone NEJA flush mount weather resistant stainless steel door station
- Aiphone NESS flush mount vandal proof weather resistant stainless steel door station and is made from 12 gauge stainless steel
- Aiphone NANE flush mount aluminium indoor sub station
- Aiphone NAA indoor wall or desk mount substation
- Aiphone NAAN indoor wall or desk mount substation with privacy
The SBX2G stainless steel surface mounting box is suitable for the NESS and NEJA door stations when these need to be surface mounted.
There are three accessories available for the NEM system;
- Aiphone NEW5 adaptor to enable two master stations to be installed in a system. One adaptor is required for every five sub stations in the system. Also requires 12 volt power.
- Aiphone NBU back ground music adaptor enables music to be piped to all sub stations in the system. Requires a 30 watt amplifier and music source. Not suitable if NAAN sub stations are installed.
- NEMRELAY door release relay providing up to ten door release outputs and CCTV camera switching.
Feature list for the NEMRELAY
- Provides ten NC or NO relay contacts rated at 5 amps
- Provides ten open collector outputs for CCTV camera switching when door station calls a master.
- No modification to NEM master station required. NEMRELAY is wired in parallel to the existing door station wiring.
- Up to six can be installed in a system.
- Only opens the door that is in communication with the master station/s.
NOTE the NEM system requires the installation of shielded cabling. Failure to install shielded cabling will affect the operation of this system. Please contact us prior to installing any cabling to ensure the correct type of wiring is being installed.
